300+ wedding planners shared wedding trends with EventUp
Wedding planners and couples alike are eagerly anticipating the latest trends in the wedding industry, and EventUp has uncovered the most exciting ones for 2023.
The largest event venue marketplace, which helps businesses capture new leads and increase event revenue, surveyed over 300 wedding planners to find out what event trends they were most looking forward to this year. The survey, which took the form of a “this or that” questionnaire, asked planners to choose between two options for a range of wedding trends.
“Wedding trends evolve year after year; it’s always fascinating to see which trends fade out over time, those that seem to last forever and learn about the newest ones that seem to catch on like wildfire,” said Jonathan Morse, CEO of Tripleseat.

- 58% of planners will serve signature cocktails instead of offering an open bar to guests.
