What are Los Angeles warehouses like?

Source: Peerspace

Before you begin your search, we’ve gathered a few examples to help you get a sense of the kind of warehouses you’ll find in Los Angeles. Check them out and maybe one of these will end up being the perfect fit for your needs!

A south LA warehouse with a graffiti alley

Here’s a fantastic option if you’re looking to rent a warehouse for a day in Los Angeles. It’s an over 15,000-square-foot warehouse complex containing two 1924 warehouses connected via fire doors.

The space also has exposed and painted brick walls, concrete floors, 16- to 17-foot ceilings, and a flexible stage as well as an outdoor stage. Be sure to take a look at the listing and its photos to get a better idea of what this incredible, extensive space is like.

But first, check out this Peerspace review from a past renter. Peerspace reviews can help you get a better sense of what to expect from any space. “Amazing space and amazing hosts! Even better than the photos, and tons of options. Can’t wait to shoot there again.”

An architectural cement/glam warehouse

This massive architectural cement/glam warehouse is 12,000 square feet of space that you can use however you please. You’re unlikely to find another warehouse with an architectural design quite like this, as it boasts massive concrete walls with gold, white, and circular textural elements and amazing lighting.

There are more than 120 glowing reviews and with good reason. One reviewer and past renter commented: “Amazing place with an amazing host! This place looks just like the photos with a beautiful dressing room. Everything was clean and I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely rent again”. Another reviewer said, “The place is dope, the site rep was on point and professional and the place was spotless. Would come here ANYTIME. GREAT Experience.”

2,300 square foot brick and wood warehouse studio

This is a 2,300-square-foot brick and wood warehouse studio in South Los Angeles. It can accommodate as many as 150 people and costs only $150 per hour, an amazing deal. Especially considering the quality of the space and the fact that it can accommodate such large gatherings. In fact, there’s even parking for 30 cars if need be.

You could host a small- to a medium-sized wedding here without issue. And really, just about any other event you might need. The space has white walls, lots of natural light, and high ceilings up to 14 feet.

Here’s a helpful Peerspace review that illuminates the flexibility of this LA warehouse: “Daniel’s space was very spacious for our baby shower. We hosted around 100 people. There was plenty of parking inside the gate as well as street parking outside. We didn’t expect to have a rainy day. But everyone was warm and dry inside. We definitely recommend this space!”

An entire 5,000-square-foot warehouse dance studio

This massive warehouse dance studio in Park Mesa Heights is one of the most unique we’ve seen. Like most warehouses, it’s enormous and provides you with plenty of open space. It’s updated design sets it apart from most since this warehouse is outfitted as a dance studio.

When you book here, you’ll have access to the 2,000-square-foot annex complete with a kitchen and a lounge as well as the 3,000 square foot studio. The studio also includes a stage, a sound system, a screen, and a projector. With these amenities alone, you can imagine that everything from dance showcases to video shoots can take place here.

“Space was great and Quela was Amazing,” shares a field producer who filmed a production here. “Cooperative and great communication. Would definitely recommend.”

Architectural plexi-covered space

This architectural plexi-covered space in South LA is one of our favorite options if you’re looking to rent a warehouse for a day in Los Angeles! The plexi-covered ceiling warehouse space has high-tech colored LED lights. Plus, the warehouse itself offers 10,000 square feet of space which make it the perfect choice for all kinds of events.

“Really epic filming space,” shares a Peerspace reviewer. “You have lots of room for crew loading, tables and chairs are provided, two restrooms, and the panels are amazing. Loved that there was custom lighting animations available and really utilized that for our shoot. Would book again!” You can even book it as a gallery or showroom to feature films, car shoots, fashion shoots, music videos, and lots more.
