Where to Eat Near The Bean in Chicago

​​As well as being one of Chicago’s most famous tourist attractions, the eye-catching Cloud Gate, known affectionately as the Bean, has become a hotspot for excellent restaurants and private dining venues. We’ve put together some of our favorites that are just a short walk from the Bean in Millenium Park. Avli on The Park

Avli on The Park, located on the northern side, offers a modern take on Mediterranean cuisine. This large 13,000-square-foot upscale restaurant has wonderful space to hold your birthday dinners all the way to extravagant weddings. It offers amazing views of the city through its oversized windows. 

The menu at Avli on The Park is packed with classic Greek dishes, including fresh seafood and specially marinated meats. They also serve traditional small plates such as spanakopita and sesame feta, as well as a wide section of cocktails, wine, beer, and Greek spirits. 

Avli on The Park offers multiple event spaces, both indoor and outdoor. You can host your private party or dinner meeting for small parties of 10 up to 500 guests. 

Remington’s

Remington’s couldn’t be closer to the Bean. This classic American grill is right opposite the sculpture on North Michigan Avenue. The elegant walls of this restaurant are lined with their extensive wine collection, which is elegantly backlit to set a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s a perfect space for special dinners and company celebrations.

Remington’s menu presents a wide selection of seafood starters, salads, sandwiches, and all-American grill-house classics, including slow-roasted prime rib with au jus, among other juicy steaks. They serve a wonderful wine collection, beer offerings, and several tasty signature cocktails.

This elegant venue can accommodate intimate or large gatherings, from 10 to 225 guests for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a cocktail reception in a variety of private and semi-private dining spaces.

For a sit-down meal to remember, STK Chicago offers a chic dining experience perfect for your next event. Warm wood features and sleek furniture make this place an inviting atmosphere. A high-energy DJ also adds to this venue’s party vibe.

STK’s menu offers delicious steakhouse dishes, including filet, sirloin, porterhouse, and dry-aged tomahawk. Braised Short Rib Mac & Cheese is a crowd-pleaser, but if you would prefer a non-beef option, they serve plenty of entrees, sides, and salads. STK also makes beautiful, stylish beverages that will complete your celebration.

STK Chicago offers three private rooms, or you can reserve a buyout that can accommodate up to 300 guests, ideal for meetings, wine tastings, seated dinners & cocktail receptions.
