Skift Take

Ramsay’s Kitchen at Harrah’s is the latest outlet for the celebrity chef’s creations in Las Vegas. With plenty of options for groups all around the city, how can this eatery steal the show?

A meeting or convention’s food and beverage portion is one of the most talked about — social media posted — aspects of a gathering. But, when done well, F&B can do more than satisfy hunger; it is a great way to increase attendee engagement.

One way to do that is to have a celebrity chef get involved with the food and beverage at a function, either through an appearance or simply by having the gathering in the chef’s newest restaurant.

Ramsay’s Kitchen in Las Vegas is the multi-Michelin-starred chef and television personality Gordon Ramsay’s sixth restaurant in Las Vegas in partnership with Caesars Entertainment. Inspired by Chef Ramsay’s travels abroad, Ramsay’s Kitchen made its official debut at Harrah’s Las Vegas on Wednesday, November 16.

“Whether in the middle of Vietnam or the most amazing countryside in New Zealand, I’ve brought something back and inspired the menu from these amazing travels,” said Ramsay. “Plus, the menu features some of my favorite dishes I’ve created at home in my own kitchen, but with that special Vegas flair.”

Ramsay is a renowned expert at using food and drink to inspire guests. “I think some of the best ideas come from sitting around a table and chatting. There’s really nothing quite like that experience of breaking bread and sharing ideas and thoughts,” said Ramsay.

Looking ahead to 2023, Ramsay is confident that exclusive dining experiences are top of the list for planners. “I think we’ll see a steady pickup in group dining. Coming off the pandemic, I think people are craving those in-person experiences like never before,” said Ramsay.

For Caesars, this new dining option is a welcome addition for events taking place at the connected Caesars Forum Conference Center. In addition, the company is expanding its high-end food-related offerings at its Las Vegas properties, with pastry chef Dominique Ansel opening a bake shop at Caesars Palace in October. Beyond Vegas, Caesars is also tentatively looking to expand its casino footprint to New York City.

“Ramsay’s Kitchen marks one of the biggest openings in Harrah’s history,” said Dan Walsh, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s Las Vegas.

Designed by architecture and interior design firm AO, Ramsay’s Kitchen seats 244 guests. A theater kitchen, seven-seat seafood counter, and raw bar anchor the lower dining area, which features a floor-to-ceiling custom wine display. A private dining room seats 12 and offers a glimpse of the action on the cook line.
