Located at 411 Park Avenue South, La Brasserie opened last year and is a reimagined version of Anthony Bourdain’s Les Halles. This classic French eatery has quickly become a staple of Manhattan, serving innovative and classic French cuisine. Opened by Francis Staub, founder of the cookware company, La Brasserie’s menu includes some of Bourdain’s top recipes including steak fries and his flavorful chicken paillard. They have an extensive offering of wine from their beautiful zinc bar.
La Brasserie can accommodate semi-private or private events for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with up to 160 seated guests. The space holds wine-colored banquettes and classic white linen-covered tables that set off the original terrazzo-checkered floor. It also has a charming terrace that you could enjoy at your next gathering.
Located near Herald Square at 59 W 37th Street in Manhattan, this new location for Cafe China has quickly become a NYC favorite. This restaurant temporarily was out of operation a bit during the pandemic but has now returned, luckily for all! Opened by co-owners Yiming Wang and Xian Zhang, Cafe China serves extremely delicious Chinese cuisine with a variety of other regional cuisines including Sichuan and Cantonese. Try out one of their creative and delicious cocktails like the “Lucky Lychee” or beer or wine. Their menu includes wonderful selections of dim sum and many spicy options.
Cafe China boasts the elegant ambiance of Shanghai from the 1930s with leather banquets and tasseled decor. A very inviting restaurant, it seats over 300 people. Its floor plan can be configured for a variety of sized parties, so it makes a great destination for private dinners and special occasions. Make sure to explore Cafe China as a great venue option.
Situated at 265 Bowery in lower Manhattan, Belse is an incredible upscale brewery and vegan restaurant that just opened this past spring. Executive chef Anthony Spino serves a beautifully elevated plant-based menu that pairs well with craft beer brewed onsite, Belse’s California wine, or crafted cocktails. Enjoy their yummy salads, soups, flatbread, and more.
Belse’s space is clean and modern. It’s an amazing place to host anything from an intimate group dinner all the way to a wedding reception with its spacious and flexible floor plan. Belse’s has several areas for events including their Garden Room with a communal table that has a seating capacity of up to 50 guests with a reception space of up to 75 guests, perfect for your mid-size party.
