You can take over their massive distillery production space for a unique warehouse backdrop, multiple meeting rooms that have a comfortable vibe, their beautiful tasting lounge, and their expansive outdoor patio with stunning views of the SF skyline (this is our favorite part). You can do a full buyout of the space, which will fit up to 450 people comfortably.
For a unique twist, they offer private distillery tours and cocktail classes to make your event engaging and memorable. Their distillery tours involve an hour-long exploration through their production space to learn about the full distillation and bottling process, see how they infuse their vodkas, and taste various expressions along the way. The cocktail class includes a tour, but you end with a mixologist-led course on a few delicious cocktails that teach attendees some bartending basics. Hangar 1’s distillery is on top of the industrial-meets-boutique design style, with plenty of natural light and healthy plants to make this space a wonderful place to spend a day. They have barrels all around the distillery and use them often as cocktail hour-style tables, which adds a hint of uniqueness to events. And their massive copper distilling equipment and beautiful views of San Francisco provide breathtaking backdrops.
The Hangar 1 team offers some of the most unique drink options, such as tasting flights of their vodkas that include some of their distillery exclusives, which include distinct and tasty infusions like Honeycomb Vodka and Fennel Vodka. Their mixologists are all cross-trained in distilling techniques, so they can explain the methods with which the different vodkas were made and infused. They also offer Mini Cocktail Flights, where they create cocktail tasters in small mason jars that guests can sip to explore some interesting concoctions like a Fennel Bloody Mary or a Mumbai Mule with Cardamom Vodka.
