About Barrio Bar and Restaurant
Barrio is an agave bar and Latin kitchen located in the historic Ghirardelli Square. The restaurant overlooks San Francisco’s beautiful Aquatic Park and the entire Bay. Between the expansive patio and rotunda dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows, Barrio is the perfect place to gather with family and friends. The Barrio team is made up of a dynamic group of hospitality industry veterans who are passionate about community and good food & drinks! Barrio Food and Drink Menu
Everything on the Barrio menu is made from scratch. Our most notable product is our blue corn tortillas, made fresh every day from heirloom blue corn. Seasonal vegetables and slow braised meats also grace the menu, pairing perfectly with our fresh sauces.
Barrio’s Death Sauce is something to write home about! Enjoy seasonal craft cocktails, local beer, and Latin-inspired cuisine featuring tacos with housemade heirloom blue corn tortillas, ceviche, salads, burritos, and more! Fan favorites include the halibut tacos and beef birria, always served on blue corn tortillas. Barrio uses fresh seasonal fruits for our aqua Frescas and specialty margaritas. Guests can enjoy margaritas by the pitcher as well! The craft cocktail list is always inspired and seasonal and has something for everyone. They serve local craft beer and wine to round out the beverage list.
Private Events at Barrio
They offer dinner and lunch for groups large and small. Reservations can be made online for groups under 12. For larger groups, Barrio is the perfect place to throw your event. From weddings to corporate events, Barrio can do it all. They have hosted Rehearsal dinners, team building lunches, holiday parties, birthdays, baby showers, weddings, and more! They have a variety of event spaces to offer, including our gorgeous and heated patio overlooking the bay, The Rotunda, with floor to ceiling windows, the Bar, perfect for mingling events, and our private event room, The Masa Casa. The Masa Casa is a private and festive space with a colorful mural painted by a local artist. This room is a great spot to host a dinner for up to 25 seated guests. Of course, the entire restaurant is available for rental as well. Our culinary team creates pre-fixed menus for each event. Food is served family style and always makes for a perfect party! Our Bar team will create craft cocktails for your group as well; specialty margaritas, aqua frescas, mezcal negronis, Palomas, and anything else you can think up. Between the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the view, there is no better place to throw a party!
