I designed a high school graduation party last year where the guest of honor was a huge fan of Disney. ✨ She had LOTS of other interests/passions to highlight at the party too, though – so we decided to focus the Disney accents in one area: the Advice & Wishes station!
If you know a Disney lover that’s graduating too, this is a great way to incorporate their passion in an understated way.
The main theme of this graduation party was Modern Farmhouse. I kept the Disney table *mostly* in this style – BUT couldn’t resist adding a big dose of sequins for extra sparkle. Disney is always a little bit extra, right?! 😉
If You Can Dream It…
We all love a great inspirational quote, and Walt Disney has the perfect one for graduations! I designed this 8×10 quote sign to match the rest of the Farmhouse Graduation printables and displayed it on a chalkboard frame.
Advice & Wishes Cards
I found a Rae Dunn wire letter holder and utensil holder (at Marshalls) and used them to hold the blank and filled-out Advice & Wishes cards. They had the perfect industrial vibes for our Modern Farmhouse theme. 🙌
(The holders did say LETTERS and UTENSILS at first, so I designed labels with new words to customize them for our needs. The font I used is called “Shiplap”.)

Decorative Accents
It’s fun to highlight a theme in a different way! These were the main elements used to bring a touch of Disney to the table:
1. Wood Cutouts
Simple silhouettes of Mickey and the Disney castle were featured on either side of the table. I painted them and embellished the castle with another Walt Disney quote. This time the quote was a nod to the guest of honor’s love of books & reading. 💛
2. Themed Photos
The best “Disney accents” of all were themed photos of the guest of honor in Disney gear! (How CUTE is that jean jacket?!) These images REALLY personalized the table… and all I had to do was display them in cute frames. 🙌
3. College Themed Minnie Ears
Love how these custom Minnie Ears turned out! Lucky for us the colors of Purdue matched perfectly with the rest of the party, too. 🙌
